Utz's Quality Foods is recalling certain Zapp's Brand and Dirty Brand potato chips for possible salmonella exposure, according to the FDA.

Officials say the recall follows a notification that dry milk powder used in the chips may contain salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes deadly infections.

Since Monday, there have been no reports of illness connected to the chips.

The recall affects:

  • Zapp's Brand Bayou Blackened Ranch Potato Chips

  • Zapp's Brand Big Cheezy Potato Chip

  • Dirty Brand Salt and Vinegar Potato Chips

  • Dirty Brand Maui Onion Potato Chip

  • Dirty Brand Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips

Those who have purchased the chips are asked to get rid of them by the FDA and contact Utz for questions or refunds.
