Levittown fitness club "Keep Moving Forward" is focusing on raising money for the Joshua Encarnacion Memorial Fund, an initiative to build a park in Wantagh in memory of the young athlete who died from a rare childhood cancer.
Founder Sebastian Gomez is making sure his members build more than muscle and confidence.
Since the grand opening last August, "Keep Moving Forward" has followed through with its mission of taking causes under its wing to help raise awareness and money for those in need.
"Keep Moving Forward" is giving their members through its merchandise a deeper connection to the community and themselves.
The fitness club is selling bracelets in pairs with the hope of spreading the message by then giving a bracelet to someone who may be having a hard time. And the bracelets will be replaced for free.
Bracelets can be purchased online or at the "Keep Moving Forward" gym in Levittown at 3361 Hempstead Turnpike.
