Jasmine rice sold at Wegmans, other stores recalled for possible 'foreign material'

Lundberg Family Farms is recalling its two-pound pack of Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice.

Check your cabinets if you have recently purchased jasmine rice.

Lundberg Family Farms is recalling its two-pound pack of Lundberg Organic Jasmine White Rice for the possible presence of "foreign materials".

The affected product can be identified by the universal product code 073416- 040281, and best by dates and lot codes 02/01/2027, 260201 and 02/02/2027, 260202, according to the recall notice posted by Wegmans Food Markets.

The rice is sold at Wegmans, Walmart, Target and Whole Foods.

If you bought the product from Wegmans, the retailer says "all product may be returned for a full refund."

It's not clear if the other stores are offering refunds at this time.
