A woman was taken to the hospital for treatment and support after a sexual assault that led to an arrest Tuesday night in White Plains, police say.
The attack happened inside a stairwell at the City Center complex, where officers responded and took a suspect into custody at the scene.
Police said the victim is a 20‑year‑old woman.
She was transported to a hospital following the incident.
Officers arrested a 22‑year‑old man from Queens.
Detectives are reviewing surveillance video and working with the Westchester County district attorney’s office.
