Help from the public is being requested after a large amount of garbage was illegally dumped on a residential street earlier this month in Phillipsburg.

Police say the incident happened around 12:23 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, in the 1000 block of Green Street.

Investigators said a white Dodge Ram 1500 was captured dumping a large quantity of garbage and debris without the property owner’s consent. The truck is described as a white Dodge Ram 1500 with tinted windows and an unknown New Jersey license plate.

Police said the debris left behind included chunks of concrete, white chairs and pool lining. The vehicle was last seen traveling west on Congress Street toward Columbus Avenue after the dumping.

Police are also asking residents who may have recently hired a household cleanout service to review the discarded items.Investigators said images of the vehicle and its occupants have been released.

Anyone who recognizes the truck, the people involved, or believes the items came from their property is being asked to contact the Phillipsburg Police Department.
