PATH service resumes in Hoboken after fire in tunnel

PATH officials said service on the Hoboken–World Trade Center line and the Hoboken–33rd Street line was suspended at 12:14 p.m.

PATH trains are running again in Hoboken after a fire in a rail tunnel Friday morning caused service issues.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says Hoboken–World Trade Center and Hoboken–33rd Street trains are running once again.

The fire caused the PATH station to fill with smoke and prompted the evacuation of some trains.

No one was hurt.
