An online apparel company has agreed to pay a civil penalty after allegations involving New Jersey consumers.

Attorney General Matt Platkin announced a $200,000 fine for SKIMS Body, Inc., which was founded by Kim Kardashian.

Officials say the company violated New Jersey consumer protection laws by collecting sales tax on tax‑exempt clothing sold to state consumers.

The violations are said to have happened between 2019 through 2024.
