Washington Township police say a man has been arrested for impersonating a Homeland Security officer.

Police said Nicholas Cabral called in a report of a possible break-in at a house under construction. He then showed up at the home in a marked Homeland Security car claiming to be an officer.

Investigators later learned the car belonged to his wife, an actual Homeland Security officer who was away on assignment. Police said Cabral also used emergency lights to drive to a Wendy's.

He is now in county jail.
