Twin brothers are facing charges in connection to the death of a Livingston man who overdosed earlier this year.

Prosecutors say the victim purchased drugs from the brothers the day before he died.

Justin Wang, 27, was found dead inside of a house by Livingston police on May 31, 2025, according to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. There was an empty envelope of heroin by his body.

An investigation found that Wang purchased oxycodone on May 30 from 36-year-old Erick Peguero, of Paterson, and heroin from his twin brother Esteven Peguero, of Clifton, on the same day.

Erick and Esteven Peguero were both charged with distribution of a controlled dangerous substance near a school and near a public building, among other charges, according to prosecutors.
