A Somers Point man has pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, according to authorities.

Tyrique Beckett entered a plea in exchange for a recommended sentence of three years in prison.

Last October, police received a report and video of a sexual assault on a 14-year-old. A family member of the victim said it was sent from Beckett's phone. The teen said she wasn't aware she was being recorded.

Beckett will be sentenced in December. Per Megan's Law, Beckett must register as a sex offender.
