Jernee Mill Road in Sayreville has fully reopened in both directions following roadwork to repair a water main break.
Officials say the water main break was in the area of Nickel Avenue.
The road was expected to be closed for two days when officials made the announcement on Thursday, but work appeared to have finished early.
The water main break was one of several across the state within the last few days.
