Newark police have made an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a 53-year-old man.

Ahmed Bouda, 29, was charged with death by auto and leaving the scene of a crash.

The incident occurred Sunday around 1:30 a.m. on Springfield Avenue, where Corey Claybrook was struck.
