Police: Jon Bon Jovi helps distraught woman come off ledge of bridge in Nashville

Nashville police say Bon Jovi and his team helped a woman who was standing on the ledge of the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night.

Music icon Jon Bon Jovi is being lauded for helping a woman in distress in Nashville.

Nashville police posted on X – the site formerly known as Twitter - that Bon Jovi and his team helped a woman who was standing on the ledge of the Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge Tuesday night.

The New Jersey native was on the bridge filming a music video. Bon Jovi was able to persuade the woman to come off the edge of the bridge to safety, according to police.

“It takes all of us to help keep each other safe,” Nashville Police Chief John Drake wrote in a statement.
