Danny Haas, an 18-year-old recent graduate of Notre Dame High School, has been identified as the victim of a deadly car crash in Mercer County.

Haas, a passenger in the vehicle, died after the car struck a tree on Lanwin Boulevard near Providence Drive in West Windsor last Tuesday. The driver remains in serious condition.

A standout athlete, Haas played football and lacrosse and was involved in various school organizations, according to school officials. The community is now mourning the loss of the promising young graduate.
