A water main break shut down two major roads in West Orange during rush hout.
Police say it happened on Friday afternoon at the corner of Eagle Rock and Prospect avenues.
Video shows a gaping hole in the middle of Eagle Rock Avenue. Officials tell News 12 that a two-mile stretch of that road is closed from Harrison Avenue to Pleasant Valley Way.
Northbound traffic on Prospect Avenue is being diverted onto the westbound side of Interstate 280.
