Husband and wife sentenced for running fake medical practice in Old Bridge
Prosecutors say Orger Sibaja-Bolanos, 67, posed as a doctor, sexually assaulted two women on separate occasions and gave them both injections.

A fake doctor and his wife were sentenced for sexually assaulting women out of their home in Old Bridge, Middlesex County announced on Tuesday.
Authorities say two women came forward saying they were assaulted by 67-year-old Orger Sibaja-Bolanos during appointments in 2022. Prosecutors say Sibaja-Bolanos posed as a doctor, sexually assaulted both women on separate occasions and gave them both injections.
An investigation determined Sibaja-Bolanos, of Old Bridge, was not a medical doctor, prosecutors say. He was arrested and charged with sexual assault, aggravated assault, unlicensed practice of medicine and financial facilitation.
Prosecutors say Sibaja-Bolanos' wife, 64-year-old Rosa Perez, also of Old Bridge, assisted with running the unlicensed medical practice. Perez was charged with unlicensed practice of medicine, conspiracy to commit the unlicensed practice of medicine and financial facilitation.
In October 2023, Perez pled guilty to third-degree conspiracy to commit the unlicensed practice of medicine. On January 2024, Sibaja-Bolanos pled guilty to two counts of second-degree sexual assault. The duo were both sentenced on July 9.
Sibaja-Bolanos faces 10 years in prison and must register as a sex offender. He will also be on parole supervision for life. Perez was sentenced to three years of probation.
