Gloucester Township police are reminding residents to lock up after a string of car break-ins were caught on camera Tuesday morning.

Video released by police show the suspect attempting to enter a car at a home in the neighborhood off of Johnson Road around 4 a.m. The door is locked so the man quickly moves to the next car in the driveway and successfully gets in.

The suspect is also seen entering two other unlocked cars. While in each unlocked vehicle, police say he places his foot on the brake pedal and presses the start button in an attempt to steal it if the key fob was left inside.

Police say residents should always lock their doors, remove valuables and never leave key fobs in cars.

Anyone who observes any suspicious activity can call the Gloucester Township Police Department non-emergency line at 856-228-4500.
