Police: Clark man charged with attempted murder following barricaded incident

A Clark Township man is in custody following reports of gunfire at a home in the town.
Police responded to a home on Stanton Street around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities say that 79-year-old Kenneth Kutyla was barricaded inside the home with a weapon and refused to come out.
Witnesses told News 12 that some neighbors were evacuated as a precaution.
The Union County SWAT Team went into the home and took Kutyla into custody. Faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault with a firearm.
No injuries were reported.
