Court documents: Mount Olive day care worker admitted to 'unintentionally' assaulting toddler

A day care teacher in Mount Olive accused of assaulting a toddler admitted to “unintentionally” assaulting the child back in March, court documents show.
The 16-month-old suffered a fractured skull as a result of the assault, according to court documents.
Court documents stated police showed Christina Susco, of Budd Lake, security video from inside Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center and that she identified herself as the person in the video. Susco said she had become frustrated and overwhelmed with the young child.

Gail Reuther, the executive director of the day care, told News 12 in a statement that the center is "shocked and embarrassed." Reuther called it an "isolated and distressing incident."
Susco is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated assault. She has since been released from the Morris County Correctional Facility.
