Here are some updates to the severe flooding across New Jersey.

Residents of Little Falls are back home for the holidays after being evacuated due to severe flooding. The town's mayor reported that floodwaters have receded, with town officials offering aid to affected residents dealing with house damage.

In Paterson, flood conditions persist, leading to the closure of schools throughout the past week. The city remains under a state of emergency, anticipating a return to school after the winter break.

The Red Cross stepped in to assist flood victims in Little Falls, Wayne, and Paterson over the holiday weekend. Staff distributed meals and emergency supplies, providing cleanup kits available at OEM offices in Wayne and Woodland Park. The Little Falls Civic Center shelter has now closed its doors.
