A Wall Township woman was fatally struck by a vehicle while waiting for a ride from a friend.
Police say that Georgina Stelman, 40, died Wednesday night due to her injuries. They say that Stelman was struck by a Honda Pilot driven by a 64-year-old Oakhurst woman, who was not identified.
Officials say that Stelman was standing in the street waiting for a ride from a friend when she was struck.
The crash is under investigation. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any information should call Wall police at 732-449-4500.
