A local animal shelter is asking for the public’s help to find who left puppies in the woods alone and in freezing weather.

South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter says three dogs were found trapped in a basket in Pittsgrove near Gershal Road and Eppinger Avenue. One of the puppies died. The other two puppies are currently undergoing medical treatment.
