Reports of Christmas tree shortages are making their way across the country.

While some Christmas tree farms will not be opening their doors this season due to a supply shortage, COVID-19 impacts, drought and the Canadian wildfires, New Jersey Christmas tree farmer John Wyckoff says there are still plenty of trees for everyone.

"We have an ample supply and for everyone who wants a Christmas tree, there will be one available. Certain areas may be dealing with a tight supply. Individual farms might be experiencing a shortage, if you will,” Wyckoff says. “But nationwide, we have plenty of trees. We've never run out of Christmas trees in this country, and I don't foresee it happening this year."

Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm in Belvidere opens for the season on Friday at 8 a.m.
