The Highland Park Public Schools district says a “tragic incident” occurred Wednesday morning outside on school grounds.
The school district says a community member passed away before the school day started. They didn't say what school it happened at or what happened.

The number to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255) was also provided in the letter.
