Aberdeen Township police say a man was fatally struck by a New Jersey Transit train on Friday.

They say the incident occurred on Clifford Avenue shortly after 8 a.m.

No other injuries were reported.

NJ Transit announced the North Jersey Coast Line rail service is suspended in both directions between South Amboy and Long Branch due to the accident.
