Newark police name suspect wanted for shooting beloved pastor
Police released a photo of Deidre Moses, 28, of Bloomfield. She is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 120 pounds and has a tattoo on her chest with the word "Ram."

There’s a warrant out for the arrest of Deidre Moses. Newark police say she’s the woman wanted for shooting beloved Pastor Timothy Huff.
Huff was seriously injured around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 24 when a bullet was fired into his home.
Police say Moses is from Bloomfield. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 120 pounds and has a tattoo on her chest of a ram.

Authorities say Huff was sitting on his living room couch when a bullet penetrated the front of the home and hit him in the chest. He was rushed to University Hospital and remains in critical condition.

Huff had a portion of his lung removed and because of the shooting started suffering from kidney failure.
At the time of the shooting, police released surveillance video from a neighbor’s front door camera showing two women out front and one firing at Huff’s house.
It was earlier that same evening that a group of young women went to Huff’s home and vandalized a car at the pastor’s house that belonged to his son. The windshield smashed in and a mirror broken.
Huff is the pastor at Green Pasture Baptist Church in East Orange.
