Gov. Phil Murphy says the state will not release a cause of death for Lt. Gov. Sheila Oliver.

Murphy, who made an appearance in Atlantic City Tuesday, made it clear that any information on Oliver’s death will come from her family.

Oliver died Aug. 1 after being hospitalized the day before for an undisclosed medical issue. She was 71 years old.

Murphy now has until Sept. 15 to name a new second-in-command.
