E Street Band shows in Philadelphia postponed after Springsteen announces illness

Performances for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band that were scheduled for tonight and Friday have been postponed after the singer announced that he is sick.

“We are working on rescheduling the dates so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows,” Springsteen wrote on Twitter.
The shows were scheduled to take place at Citizens Bank Park on Aug. 16 and 18.
