There are several recall alerts this weekend.
If you've bought children’s jeans at The Children’s Place in the last year, check the label. Some pairs are being recalled for a choking hazard. The snaps on the jeans can come off. No injuries have been reported. Style numbers 3022341, 3022342 and Vendor number 7000541 are being recalled along with the boy basic stretch straight leg jeans - they're for babies and toddlers, 6 to 9 months to 5T. Nestlé has recalled cookie dough due to reports about pieces of wood. They say it involves “break and bake” dough with best by dates from Aug. 22 to Oct. 23. No injuries were reported. But they say some customers contacted them about it. Click here for more information.
The consumer product safety commission says Sensio’s pressure cooker sold at a variety of stores resulted in 61 injuries. The lid can come off while the cooker is being used. It was sold from 2015 through 2020. Click here for more information.
Also, a variety of products that test for pregnancy, ovulation, urinary tract infections, and other conditions are being recalled. The FDA says they may not be safe and effective, and you should throw them away. Meanwhile, the manufacturer Universal Meditech, Inc. stopped all operations, though it’s unclear why.
