Three men were indicted Wednesday for a string of robberies and a carjacking in Union and Essex counties, according to prosecutors.

The trio began their monthlong crime bender in December. Prosecutors say Isaiah Barrett, 33, of Elizabeth, Alfred Pierre, 37, of Roselle, and Daron Thomas, 32, of East Orange were charged in four separate indictments encompassing 56 counts including robbery and carjacking.

Prosecutors say the crimes started Dec. 15, 2022, in Roselle. They soon thereafter committed robberies Dec. 26 in Linden, Jan. 2 in Elizabeth, Jan. 4 in Orange. The men committed both a robbery and a carjacking on Jan. 8 in Linden.

The men were arrested in April and will be on trial this month.

Anyone with additional information should contact Union County Prosecutor's Office Detective William Hannon at 908-578-8482 or their local police departments.
