WHAT'S NEW: Dry conditions prevail. The low remains to the south and clouds are barely spreading up far north. High pressure to the north will keep the local weather dry for now. Sunny and dry weather as the holiday weekend continues. Great weather on land, but the ocean is a bit rough and because of rip currents and cold water temperatures, swimming is discouraged.
WHAT'S NEXT: Minimal rain chances through the rest of the week. Best chance of rain could be Saturday now as a cold front sinks southward through the northeast. Before that point, temperatures are up near 90 degrees on Friday.
FORECAST
OVERNIGHT: Mainly clear. Winds are light with temperatures in the 50s after midnight. A few high clouds, otherwise mostly clear.
MONDAY- MEMORIAL DAY: Breezy with winds out of the East. Shore points feeling cooler with highs in the 60s. Inland areas, up near 80 degrees again. Moderate risk of rip currents again with cold water dangers as well.
TUESDAY: Sun and more clouds mix with closer to normal highs, 74 degrees. Lows near 54.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny with a slight shower chance in the afternoon for south Jersey. Highs near 78. Lows near 62.
