‘Frasier’ star Kelsey Grammer hosts scholarship fundraiser, promotes his Faith American brewery

Actor Kelsey Grammer returned to New Jersey on Monday to promote his brewery Faith American and help raise money for scholarships for Georgian Court University students.
Before the annual Scholarship and Golf Classic at Battleground Country Club, Grammer assumed the role of bartender – pouring beer to guests at the Manalapan club.
“The craft world of beer making has been pretty extraordinary. There's some guys doing stuff that I would never drink. I don't want a milkshake beer honestly. I'd rather go to Dairy Queen for that. I like beer that tastes like beer. That's my own little sort of pet peeve,” Grammar said.
Grammer founded the Catskills brewery back in 2015, and occasionally makes stops in the Garden State to talk with fans about his work and his beer.
Georgian Court University President Dr. Joseph Marbach said this event is really important because students need it.
“Ninety-eight percent of them get some type of financial aid. All the money raised today goes towards scholarships,” he said.

Grammer also briefly spoke to News 12 New Jersey about the highly anticipated “Frasier” reboot and says 10 episodes were filmed. He says he hopes there’s a quick resolution to the ongoing writer's strike so the reboot can hopefully air sometime this October.
