Winter weather advisory issued for parts of New Jersey ahead of weekend snow.

Police say two New Jersey women were killed in seperate incidents involving falling trees Thursday.According to authorities, a 61-year-old woman from Union is dead after a tree fell on her car in Mountainside. Authorities say the fatality happened around 6 a.m. Thursday on Route 22. According to police, her vehicle was traveling westbound near Robin Hood Road. Police say it's not known if the accident was due to strong winds.
A woman who had just left a supermarket in Newark was also killed when a large tree branch fell and struck her, causing massive head injuries.
