Two Paterson men were injured in a shooting Monday night, officials said.

Police responded to the area of Madison and Essex streets at about 10:14 p.m. after a report of a shooting, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Officers found two victims with nonfatal gunshot wounds: a 33-year-old man and a 60-year-old man. Both were taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.

Police also located a potential crime scene.
