Freehold Township residents say two luring attempts have occurred near the same park this month.

The incidents allegedly occurred on May 12 and May 22 on Juda Drive. Police say the intended victims were both male, ages 11 and 12. Authorities credit the boys for running as soon as the suspect approached them.

In both incidents, a man allegedly confronted boys walking alone and demanded they get in his car.

""I can't believe it," says Pam Weird, a local mother. "It's such a quiet neighborhood. I'd never expect anything like this to happen here."
