New Brunswick fire officials say one person was killed when a fire ripped through a home late last night.
New Brunswick Fire Department Deputy Chief Tommy Lopardo said crews were met with heavy smoke and fire when they arrived at 204 Easton Ave. just after 10 p.m.
Lopardo said the victim was found on the second floor of the home. He said the fire quickly spread to two adjacent homes.
New Brunswick officials have not released the identity of the victim.
