A robbery suspect outran East Orange police Wednesday night.

Police said two men on bicycles robbed another man on 6th and 11th streets. After catching up with and arresting one of the suspects on North 18th Street, dozens of officers searched nearby homes. Fire department ladders were used to help police search the rooftops.

Authorities are unsure whether the second suspect, who has not yet been caught, is armed.

The robbery victim was not injured.
