"Real Housewives of New Jersey” husband Joe Giudice is expected in court today in Pennsylvania for a bond hearing and may soon be heading back to New Jersey, according to a report from the New York Post.
According to the report, if the judge rules in Giudice’s favor, he can return to his home to wait out the rest of his deportation case. If not, he will have to wait out his case in the detention center that he is currently in.
Giuidice, 47, was ordered to be deported to his native country of Italy back in October of 2018, and has been behind bars since November of 2016 after getting sentenced for tax evasion.
Giudice and his wife, Teresa, 47, pleaded guilty in 2014 to financial fraud. Giudice is an Italian citizen who was brought to the U.S. as a baby and says he wasn't aware he wasn't an American citizen.
Teresa Giudice served nearly a year in prison and was freed in December 2015.
The couple has four daughters together.
