Cold temperatures, mixed with melted snow, are leaving many New Jersey residents concerned about the conditions of the roadways.
While most of the main roads and highways are clear, there's still always a concern over the ice that can't be seen.
In Newark, some side roads are still white, and while they were plowed hours ago, many can still expect a bumpy and slow ride.
Cleanup is already starting on Ridge Street, between Barringer High School and the Cathedral.
There was a water main break reported Thursday night nearby on Commerce Street between McCarter Highway and Mulberry Street. That was cleaned up, but roads are still wet around there -- which could be dangerous.
