Some parts of New Jersey saw over 30 inches of snow from last week's nor'easter, and in places such as Linden, it’s creating difficulties finding a place to park, as well as other challenges.
Department of Public Works staff cleared off Wood Avenue, one of the main roads in town, earlier today, and they've been at it on a daily basis.
Crews shovel and have a variety of heavy machinery to pile the snow up, load it, and take it to other sites.
"When you plow, I mean you only have one place to put it and that's to the curb and you can see the banks people can't walk over this," says Linden Public Works Supervisor Robert Squeglia. "So, we have to get the job done so people are safe and get access to stores the right way."
DPW leaders say if you can move your car off the street to allow plow drivers to get through, it will help clear out space for parking.
