A Hunts Point café continues to win over residents.
Boogie Down Grind Café at 866 Hunts Point Ave. has been open for about two years.
Owners say they wanted to create a unique space in the neighborhood where people could have a place to sit down and enjoy food and coffee they could not get anywhere else.
The café offers healthy breakfast options and freshly ground coffee.
Their signature dish called the 'Grindwich' features a freshly toasted croissant with scrambled eggs, roasted turkey breast, and olive tapenade spread.
The space has quickly become a cozy, friendly go-to spot for anyone in the area, owners say.
The restaurant also showcases local artists every month, owners say.
