A boat was destroyed by fire in New Rochelle on Tuesday.
Cellphone video captured the smoke billowing from the Polychron Marina yesterday.
News 12 was told the owner was present when the fire ignited, but no one was hurt. "Members did a great job. They got in quick and made the attack. It didn't extend. You can see there's other boats right next to where the other boat was, so they contained it to the one boat," says New Rochelle Fire Department Chief Andrew Sandor.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
