A black bear was spotted walking at the Jersey Shore on Friday.

The bear was seen casually strolling through the bayside of Sandy Hook, no doubt getting one last walk in before hibernation season.

It may not be a sight seen often, but there were reports of bears in Atlantic Highlands in the spring of 2022.
