Authorities: Man dies following Sunday shooting in Paterson

Authorities say Daryle Robinson was shot Sunday at the intersection of Broadway and East 24th Street.

A 62-year-old man died Tuesday following a weekend shooting in Paterson, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Daryle Robinson was shot Sunday at the intersection of Broadway and East 24th Street at 10:22 a.m., according to Passaic County prosecutors and Paterson police.
Robinson was shot multiple times and was transported to St. Joseph's University Medical Center for treatment, authorities said. They say Robinson was in the hospital receiving treatment until he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Authorities say more information will be released once it becomes available.
