The Borough of Bradley Beach has postponed its 4th of July fireworks scheduled for Saturday.

According to officials, the public safety team concluded a meeting with other law enforcement officials, and said the postponement is in the best interest of residents and seasonal visitors.

Officials say they continue to monitor intelligence reports in terms of crowd control and ensure decisions are in the best safety interests of residents.

A new date has not been announced.
