900 packets of heroin confiscated in Howell
A traffic stop in Monmouth County led to a large amount of heroin being taken off the streets.
Howell Township police on Thursday pulled over a car suspected of being involved in drug activity in the parking lot of a nearby shopping center.
They say they found more than 900 packets of heroin and a small amount of marijuana inside the car.
Michael Felicetta, Melissa Conner and Myrahn Smith were arrested and charged with drug possession and intent to distribute. Conner also reportedly had an active warrant out for her arrest.
Police also confiscated $1,500, as well the car the trio was driving.
The three were taken to the Monmouth County Jail.
