9h agoA GoFundMe account was set up for a family in Verona after a man and his six-month-old grandson were struck and killed by an uprooted tree in their backyard on Monday.
The post says the grandfather and his grandson were laying in a hammock when the tree fell down on them.
Verona police and fire and rescue squad responded to the corner of East Lincoln Street and West Lincoln Street around 7 p.m. Monday, authorities said.
The fundraiser has raised over $37,000 to be used for memorial services.
