Hoboken's acting mayor is going to get thejob full-time.

Democrat Dawn Zimmer has been declared the winner of a specialelection to fill the vacancy left when former Mayor Peter Cammaranoresigned three weeks into his term after his arrest on corruptioncharges.

Zimmer is the Hudson County city's first female mayor.

Zimmer defeated six candidates Tuesday and will serve until2013.
