The remnants of Hurricane Zeta will bring rain Friday along with a chance for our first few wet snowflakes of the season.
The showers will linger on Friday. But as colder air moves in, the rain could end as some wet snowflakes in the high elevations and northern counties. None of it should stick to the pavement, only colder surfaces like grass and tree limbs.
The storm is expected to be over around noon, and it will be drier on Friday afternoon, but turning colder with highs in the 40s and wind chills in the 20s and 30s.
Ice will not be widespread, but there could be patchy black ice Friday night into Saturday morning.
Halloween on Saturday will be chilly, but sunny with temperatures in the upper 40s.
Sunday will be dry to start, but there will be late-afternoon scattered rain showers.
Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.
