A photo published on the cover of the National Enquirer which appears to show Whitney Houston's open casket has sparked controversy across the Garden State.
The image of the late New Jersey-native pop star was purportedly taken during a private viewing at the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark.
Many have taken to the News 12 New Jersey Facebook and Twitter pages to express their outrage over the tabloid's photo calling it shocking, shameful and disturbing.
